We’ll be bringing a beautiful selection of freshly harvested produce, including:

🍅 Cherry tomatoes
🥒 Pickling cucumbers
🥕 Rainbow carrots
🌿 Purple basil
🥬 Green butter lettuce
🌱 Microgreens
…and more!

Every harvest is thoughtfully grown and hand-selected by our incredible farm manager, Lainie.

Huge shoutout to amazing volunteers for coming out to the farm! 🌱🙌

We had such a GREAT volunteer day and got so much accomplished in just a few hours - from installing a shade cloth on our seedling greenhouse, to clearing out worn GroBoxes, and creating more growing space with fresh mulch in the soil farm. 💪🌞🌿

Your hard work made a massive difference and saved our farm team so much time on operations.

We truly appreciate the energy, teamwork, and support. You guys absolutely ROCK!! 🚜💚

Every week, Luz grows and brings in a fresh harvest of locally grown microgreens straight from our urban farm to your neighborhood shelves.

Crisp, nutrient-packed, and harvested with care - ready for your salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and more. 💚

✨ Garden Spotlight: Chamomile & Borage ✨

Two tiny flowers, big impact in the garden this week.

Chamomile 🌼 is more than a calming tea. These cheerful daisy-like blooms attract beneficial insects, help improve soil health, and bring a gentle apple-like scent to the beds. We love tucking chamomile between veggies to support the whole ecosystem.

Borage 💙 might be our pollinators’ favorite plant right now. Its bright blue star-shaped flowers refill with nectar every few minutes, making it a nonstop buffet for bees. Bonus: the leaves enrich the soil and the flowers are edible - perfect for salads and summer drinks.

Growing flowers isn’t just about beauty - it’s about building a thriving, resilient urban food system.

Every bloom 🌸 supports pollinators 🐝 , and every pollinator supports the food we grow for our community 💚🌱🍅🫛🥦🌶️🥒

💪 Volunteer Day at the Farm 💪

We loved hosting the amazing team from AECOM for a hands-on volunteer day at Restorative Farms! 😊

Together, we installed a new shade cloth over our hydroponic greenhouse - an important step to help protect our crops as the Texas heat ramps up 🔥

This kind of support makes a real difference in our ability to grow fresh, local food for the community while creating meaningful learning and workforce opportunities. 💚

Thank you to everyone who showed up ready to work, learn, and make an impact. We couldn’t do this without partners like you!

We left feeling honored to be selected as a pitch contestant for United Way of Metropolitan Dallas - truly a big deal.

Being in the room with such powerful, mission-driven leaders reminded us we’re in incredible company.

Shoutout to Dr. Antoria Gillon, Elizabeth Furrh, Delmetria Millener, and Dejanae Parkman - whose work is urgent, thoughtful, and deeply impactful.

Congrats to Dejanae and Dotted on the win!

We’re humbled. And deeply grateful to our board member Christopher Hill for representing our mission with such clarity and conviction.

Thank you to United Way for the platform - and for investing in all of us.

Last week, we proudly donated our excess hydroponically grown lettuce to Mati-X, helping bring nutrient-dense greens to the community and making sure good food never goes to waste.

This is part of our commitment to a zero-waste future, where every harvest is valider and every crop helps nourish our neighbors.

From our farm to tables across the city, this is what partnership and impact look like 💚

Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, April 22, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM for a special Earth Day pop-up Farmers Market at Crescent Court!

We’ll be offering seedlings and fresh, locally grown produce, including salad packs, herbs, microgreens, and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to support South Dallas communities through our “Buy One, Give One” program.

You’ll find us in the courtyard green space between the 200 and 300 buildings.

Stop by to shop, learn about sustainable food initiatives, and enjoy fresh flavors right at your doorstep.

Saint Michael’s Farmers Market is back - and so are our rockstar team and our little truck! ✨

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow from 8 AM to noon.

We’ll have seedlings for sale, seasonal greens and veggies, and our nutrition-packed microgreens.

Come stroll the stalls, grab fresh produce, pick up something sweet, and treat yourself to a bite from the truck while you’re there.

Nothing beats a sunny market morning filled with local goodies and friendly faces.
