For a long time, I thought eating “healthy” meant so much restriction. And boring meals. Salads on salads forever. Like I should just say goodbye to every comfort food I loved 😕

But here’s what I’ve learned over the last few years: a lot of us are living with chronic inflammation and don’t even realize it.
Things like bloating, puffiness, fatigue, brain fog, poor digestion, stubborn weight, sugar cravings, low energy, poor sleep, and constantly feeling “off” aren’t always just part of getting older or being a busy mom.

For many people, inflammatory foods can play a huge role — especially ultra-processed foods, seed oils, excess sugar, gluten, and sometimes dairy.

And while not everyone needs to eliminate the same things, removing the foods my body wasn’t tolerating well completely changed how I felt:

My body composition changed.
My energy improved.
I slept better.
My digestion improved.
My inflammation went down in a major way.

And honestly?? I started enjoying food MORE, not less. But I know going gluten free can feel incredibly overwhelming at first. I remember standing in the grocery store thinking… okay but what do people even EAT? I even texted a friend with Celiac saying “I know I’m a chef but… what do I eat for lunch now??”

That’s exactly why I started creating approachable gluten free recipes that still feel comforting, delicious, easy, family-friendly, and realistic for everyday life.

No sad “diet food.”
No complicated ingredients.
Just meals that help you feel good and taste good!!!!

I used to think “healing” meant eating boring food forever. No gluten. No dairy. No fun. Just sad little health meals.

But the truth is, so many of us are walking around inflamed and don’t even realize it. Puffy. Exhausted. Bloated. Brain foggy. Achy. Constantly craving sugar. Feeling “off” no matter how healthy we think we’re being.

And for a lot of people, the biggest culprits are foods we eat every single day — things like ultra-processed seed oils, gluten, dairy, excess sugar, and inflammatory additives.

Not everyone reacts to the same foods the same way. But when I removed the foods *my* body wasn’t tolerating well, everything started changing for me.

My body composition changed. My sleep improved. My digestion improved. My energy felt steadier.Even my skin looked calmer.

But I’ll be honest: going fully gluten free felt SO overwhelming at first. I remember thinking… okay cool, but what am I actually supposed to eat now??

Because so much gluten free content online either feels:— super restrictiveor— like cardboard disguised as food

What finally helped me was realizing I didn’t need to “diet.” I just needed better versions of the foods I already loved.

Gluten free doesn’t have to mean dry, flavorless, complicated, or miserable. It just takes a little planning and recipes that actually taste GOOD.

That’s why I’ve spent the last few years creating approachable gluten free recipes for real life — easy dinners, comfort foods, high-protein meals, family-friendly recipes, healthier desserts… food that makes you feel GOOD without feeling deprived.

And now?I genuinely love the way I eat because I love the way I feel.

If you’re trying to eat more gluten free but don’t know where to start, I’ve got you 🤍 join me where we talk about wellness for moms in real life — healing our bodies, minds and spirits!

I’m a mom of 4-year-old twins. Four years of pilates, protein, watching portions and discipline. And a body that quietly stopped responding the way it used to. Sound familiar? 🥲

I felt like I was doing everything ‘right’... and yet I still saw no real change. My body felt soft, puffy and honestly, just stuck. Not just how I looked, but how I felt. low energy. poor sleep. 3pm crashes. I thought I had hit my post-baby plateau.

But my effort was never the problem. My body just needed support to actually use the work I was already putting in!!

After a telehealth consult, I was prescribed two tools to add to my routine for cellular energy and inflammation support. Within two weeks, I noticed the shift. Less inflammation. Better sleep. Workouts that finally felt like they were working (imagine that!)

I’m not saying peptides are magic, but this is the best I’ve felt in my body in YEARS. I wear the same size, but my clothes fit better. I can see the muscles I’ve worked so hard to train. I FINALLY feel confident in my skin… and to me, that is priceless.

comment LEAN and I’ll send you more info on my peptide duo, a discount code and more on my experience!
