Roma is about the part after — when the meal is done, the chairs have been pushed back, and nobody's in any hurry to be anywhere.

Blueberries roasted with coffee, balsamic, honey, and a pinch of red pepper until they collapse into something deeply jammy and glossy. Spoon over creamy burrata. Finish with pistachios, lemon zest, and flaky sea salt. Surround with toasted sourdough. Try not to eat it all before guests arrive. (You will eat it all before guests arrive.)

Happy National Mint Julep Day🌿

Traditionally this involves a silver cup and a reason to drink before 5pm. We've been handling it differently around here — Mint Julep Artisan Tea has been quietly doing the work of a fancy summer drink without requiring any of the logistics.

Spearmint, peppermint, lemon verbena, lemongrass, a little bourbon flavor (non-alcoholic, all the charm) — and enough green tea to give you a gentle lift without the shaky hands.

Anyone here a mint person? I feel like you either lean hard into mint or you're deeply suspicious of it. No middle ground.

Today's the last day for the Star Wars inspired flavors. They served the galaxy well.

Also — if you haven't tried Noon-ish yet, this is your weekend. Cinnamon and vanilla custard. Warm, a little soft around the edges. The flavor equivalent of a Sunday that's refusing to become Monday.
