This week, the students of the Culinary Arts program at Decatur High School stepped inside GFI for a look at what a career in food can be: always delicious and never one-size-fits-all. The highlight? A hands-on session with the Institut du Fromage, where students tasted, questioned, and learned from a Certified Cheese Professional.

IDF courses reflect material covered in the American Cheese Society body of knowledge, so for each of these students, interest is directed toward valuable credentials.

Oh, what a good time! The goal was to build relationships and close deals (and that certainly happened), but it was the smiles and great tastings that made the GFI Food Expo a special place for camaraderie, open doors, and fun! We hope to see you all again in Spring 2027 in Tampa.

More than 1,000 guests, six paellas cooking side by side, and a full spread of Spanish favorites from croquetas and Spanish tortilla to Basque cheesecake and churros. With flamenco and a live Spanish band setting the pace, Paella My Way brought Spain to the ATL.

Y'all, that's a wrap. More than 200 vendors from across the country and around the world brought their best to the ATL. Our customers showed up hungry, and the GFI team made it look easy. Thank you to everyone who made this year's Atlanta Food Expo one to remember.
