We are a non profit farm with a mission to grow and donate organically grown food for community members who lack access, create beautiful healing spaces, and serve as a learning organization dedicated to teaching life skills.

Part of our mission is to educate future farmers and help build support for young farmers in an equitable, anti-racist, anti-oppressive framework. Today we got to see that in action with our 2.5 hour tour hosting the NC State and CEFS Vegetable Production Apprenticeship Program.

There were 14 apprentices who all currently work on vegetable operations across NC. We covered so many hard topics - like land acquisition, debt, transferring to a nonprofit status. And we had a real good time nerding out on the paperpot planter, lean-and-lower tomato trellising, IPM and more.

In a chaotic world, it always feels good to support the next generation of farmers and uplift each other's gifts and trials.

Release is not an action but a state of being. Like the trees dropping leaves in Autumn, can we let go of our negative self talk or limiting beliefs of self with clarity, ease, and completion? Could this release compost into our lives providing the death and decay necessary for enrichment?

This ceremony will be lead by Kathryn Moretz. We will gather around a sacred fire circle to reflect on how negative self talk drains power, meaning, and vitality from life. Each person will be invited to create an ink from natural materials and then paint on their skin negative talk or beliefs they hold or were told to them by others. In a ceremonial procession filled with song and sacredness, we will walk to the Creek and wash these words from our skin to embody the Release. Afterwards, we will offer (secular) prayer and self care options to seal the power of Release.

Claiming the Warrior Archetype is seld taught or respected in our culture outside of violent or war oriented situations. Each person has their own relationship with this energy and this workshop is built for you to access your own meaning of Protection, Power, Resolve, and Determination.

This workshop is limited to women, nonbinary and femme participants due to the nature of the exercises and the availibility of resources and facilitators. We aim to include a longer workshop with more resources in the future to be able to host all genders.

We will lead you through mental and physical exercises to heighten your response and activate the Warrior within. This can feel vulnerable and yet invirogating. These practices are meant to unlock your resolve to stand for the things you protect, love, and strive for.

This is a rain or shine event to be held completely outdoors in Nature at Full Moon Farm Collective.

This Equine Therapy workshop is extra special - we will have an Expressive Arts practice to deepen the feelings and thoughts brought forth from our time with the horses. We will start the workshop as a large group to lean horse communication, herd dynamics, and tuning in. Then, each person will get one on one time with a horse to feel into their own emotional and mental health wellbeing. To wrap up, our time creating art will be used to pull out important pieces and integrate meaning from the experience that you can take home!

You wont want to miss it - a magical evening meant to bring us into Presence, Connection, Congruence, and Commmunity.

Summer is off to a beautiful start at Full Moon Farm 🔆

We've delivered over $12,000 worth of veggies to Hunger and Health Coalition this Spring! Bountiful salad greens, collards, cauliflower and root crops have been distributed through their food security programs to help folks in our mountain region eat healthy.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our nonprofit farm to get us through hurdles and challenges and to a place of sustained giving in 2026!

Meet our 2026 Summer Interns Drue, Jasmine and Akira! They are all Appalachian State University students with a passion for local farming and food soveriegnty/access work.

We are grateful for their dedication and unique talents that they add to each task. Theres lots of good laughs when learning new skills and great questions that keep us teachers on our toes 😆

We have room for more interns July-August. Its a great chance to learn about every job on a small organic veggie farm and how to support community food programs for resiliency! Inquire via [email protected]

When Women come together, they heal their souls, their lineage, their homes, and their community.

Two weeks until our FREE Sacred Feminine Healing Workshop meant for all women and trans women in our region.

A half day journey through simple dances/movements, breathwork, alone time in nature, a shared meal, witnessing through guided circle time, and a releasing ritual in the Creek.

Too often Women see an opportunity like this and think,"That is for someone else... someone else needs it more than me." We are here to break that cycle of self sacrifice and self abandonment.

Take a deep breath. Allow your body to feel. Trust your heart. Come join us for a remarkable and cathartic day.
