Well...this was a first for me. My sweet boy Shrek kicked me in the thigh! Let me tell you, it hurt like crazy! It went all the way to the bone! I got weak all over and felt like I was going to faint. He may be small, but he can sure pack a punch. This just goes to prove that no matter how tame your animals seem, they are still animals and they can be unpredictable. He spun around and tried to kick me 4-5 times before he made contact. It was absolutely on purpose! All I can think of is that he had just escaped into the adjacent pasture and was running around like he was free! Then he followed me back into his pasture and I guess his adrenaline was still raging. After he kicked me, I managed to make it to a chair and he had the nerve to lean against me wanting to be scratched! So be careful out there friends! This could have been a lot worse.
