The answer: Much less than you might think.

Because the Drinking Post fills and drains with every use, there’s no standing water sitting in the bowl and no algae buildup to scrub out.

Most of the time, cleaning is as simple as removing the occasional hay, grass, or dirt that makes its way into the bowl.
