We stopped by Sabor De Acayucan, a food truck in San Juan serving up Mexican antojitos with plenty of seating and even wait staff.
We tried their Plato Fiesta, a sampler that gives you a good look at their style of cooking and seasoning. Overall, we enjoyed the variety on the plate and getting to try several of their items in one order.
The entomatadas are made with corn masa tortillas, which are thicker and tend to overpower the flavor of the tomato sauce.
The enchiladas could use a little more flavor, but honestly that’s just nitpicking, as the rest of the sampler was enjoyable and gave us a good feel for their menu.
We also tried the Panchos, which have some room for improvement. They come topped with nacho cheese instead of grated American or cheddar, and the meat was a bit overly seasoned for our taste.
If you’re into antojitos mexicanos, it may be worth stopping by and checking them out for yourself.

Visitamos Sabor de Acayucan, un food truck en San Juan que ofrece antojitos mexicanos, con bastante espacio para sentarse y hasta servicio de meseros.
Probamos su Plato Fiesta, un sampler que te permite conocer bien su estilo de comida y sazón. En general, nos gustó poder probar varios platillos diferentes en un solo plato.
Las entomatadas están hechas con tortillas de masa de maíz que son más gruesas, y el sabor fuerte de la masa termina opacando el sabor de la salsa de tomate.
Las enchiladas podrían tener un poquito más de sabor, pero la verdad eso ya sería buscarle tres pies al gato, porque el resto del sampler estuvo agradable y nos permitió conocer mejor su menú.
También probamos los Panchos, que tienen oportunidad de mejorar. Vienen con nacho cheese en lugar de queso americano o cheddar rallado, y la carne estaba un poco demasiado sazonada para nuestro gusto.
Si te gustan los antojitos mexicanos, puede ser un lugar interesante para visitar y probar por ti mismo.
