We had a great, albeit very damp and muddy, first day at the fair! It was crazy to see folks lined up in front of the waffle wagon at 4pm because they wanted a waffle to be their first stop.

The most popular waffle of the night, by a mile, was the Afternoon Delight. Which one are you most looking forward to?

We will be serving hot and fresh today from 10am until 10pm!

It’s looking like the rain will be just about over in time for dollar night at the fair tonight!! And if it isn’t, grab a poncho and come on out! You’re a Mainer! What’s a little rain to you when you want a waffle??

Tomorrow is the big day! We have heard from a lot of folks that our long lines sometimes keep them from waiting to get a waffle. In an effort to speed that process up, we have bought some buzzers so you can order your waffle and then wander away while you wait. We hope this will help!

A little behind the scenes…We can make 8 waffles every 6 minutes, and this Saturday and Sunday we plan on bringing more dough than we EVER have to hopefully not run out early. Feel free to prove us wrong, though!

Don’t forget that Apple Pie Waffle Season also means apple c***r floats! Tangy, sweet, Maine apple c***r poured over vanilla ice cream is just the sweet treat you need! Only two more days!!

The summer menu has been put away for the season and we are 10 days away from serving up the immensely popular “She’s My Apple Pie” waffle at The BLUE HILL FAIR! Can you believe it’s time for the fair already!!?? What a fast summer!

It's a gorgeous Friday in August! Come on over to Timberland Acres RV Park from 5 - 8pm and grab a dessert waffle or specialty drink while you play some Bingo in the pavilion. Sounds like peak summer to me...

We're coming back, baby! For ONE night only, come and grab a waffle at Acres RV Park and stay to play Bingo in the pavilion from 5pm - 8pm on Friday. The weather looks absolutely gorgeous, and we can't wait to see some of our old friends!

This will also be our last event in August. We will spend the rest of the month gearing up for the Blue Hill Fair. We hope to see you there!

Did you know that the average weight on a wild Maine blueberry is .3 grams? At the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival we went through about 35 pounds of berries between the fresh ones on the waffles and the ones I processed into our homemade sauce. That means in the last three days we went through over 50,000 berries!! 🤯🫐

Thank you to everyone who came out once and especially to those who came to see us every day! We had an absolute blast serving you all.

Next up on our schedule will be a very special visit to a place we used to set up once a week. Stay tuned…

Today is the last day of the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival and the last chance to snag the B.B.B. until next year. Let’s keep up the trend and sell us out for the third day in a row!

The number of you who have stopped by telling us that you’ve been waiting all year to have a waffle, those who have come multiple times both days, you can’t imagine what that means to us!

Lastly, tonight is a very special concert! American Idol finalist, Maine’s own Julia Gagnon will be performing on the stage right near our truck starting at 6pm. We are hoping to have enough waffles left by then, but no guarantees!
