This weekend, I got to have an amazing sleepover at one of my very favorite people’s houses. The goal was to make three aprons based on the crossover-style one I found this summer. Not only did we do that, but we also made homemade spaghetti noodles for dinner, smoked beef jerky, and had a ton of laughs. Thank you, Anne, for a great weekend!

The pictures are in the order we made them. We liked the third one best.

There’s big news in Penobscot today! It was opening day of the The Bakery 04476 Bread Shed, and you know I had to take the trip out there. I’m obsessed with dough (and all things baking), and Kyle is doing it right. Come out and support great people making delicious products!

Rosie is wrapped up for her winter slumber. Thank you again to everyone who came out and made us smile this season. We will miss you all.

Opening day of 2026 will be July 4th at the Stonington Pier. Until then, have a safe and happy winter and spring!

Last night was a complete WHIRLWIND! Before selling out of waffles an hour early, I had enough dough left for one mini-waffle. I wrapped it in tinfoil and made myself a victory Blueberry Fields Forever for breakfast.

We have had a wonderful 2025 season, and it's all thanks to all of you! There were so many of you who came over last night just to see us, and I can't tell you what that means to us. Bringing joy to people with food is a blessing.

We hope to see you all again in the 2026 season!

BTW - in last night's Tip Wars, Frankenstein handily won over Dracula thanks to an especially big tip from some of our oldest and most favorite customers.

Halloween is almost here! We wanted to let you know that we will be giving out FREE soda to all trick-or-treaters. No need to buy anything, just come up to the truck and help yourself in the coolers.

Also, anyone who comes to the window and shows us a SNAP card can get a FREE waffle. We want to make sure everyone can have a little extra treat during this uncertain time.

Alright, all you ghosts and ghouls...We've been waiting to make this announcement based on the weather, but right now it looks like the rain is going to hold off! We will be setting up in our driveway at 25 Maddocks Avenue in Ellsworth on Halloween night (4-8pm) again! This is our LAST event of the season, so we can't guarantee that we will have everything all night, so come early! We can't wait to see you all in your costumes!

The Tip Wars yesterday saw people choose between an alien invasion and a zombie apocalypse. The Zombies won 2-1. The overwhelming logic I heard was that you could at least stand a chance against zombies. Fair enough...

Bucksport! Holy cow! What a whirlwind we had at today’s Ghostport, ME! First, we ran out of dough, then we kept selling drinks and ice cream sundaes, until we ran out of ice cream (even after a store run)! We had bottled soda and water left. Insane. Thanks to everyone who showed up, but special thanks to this kid who was so determined to have this waffle that he put one hand inside the costume while his dad unzipped the front and passed the waffle in. Just terrific…

We are keeping an eye on the weather for Halloween and will make an announcement when it gets closer. Thank you again to everyone who has made our little trailer such a great success.

Don't forget that this Saturday is Ghostport, ME in Bucksport! We will be open from 10-4pm, and, depending on the weather, this could be your LAST chance to catch our fall menu before next September! I know I need at least one more apple cider float before the weather turns...

Look at all the different vendors that will be at Ghostport, ME this Saturday! The organizers really work hard to bring such an awesome event to our area. We will be in our normal spot next to the gazebo. Can’t wait!
