Olive Egger Rooster - Grayson - Looking for a New Flock 🐓

I’m looking to rehome my 1.5-year-old Olive Egger rooster. He’s an excellent flock guardian and does a wonderful job watching over and “shepherding” the hens. He’s attentive, protective, and takes his role seriously. He won’t be your best friend but he has never attempted to come after myself or any of our 4 children. Does come when called & with treats!

I’m only rehoming him because I’m thinning out my males to prevent future squabbles—not because of any issues with him.

My preference is for him to go to a GOOD home, not a cull situation. He truly is an amazing boy and deserves a flock where he can continue doing what he does best.

Qualifications:
✅ Early riser (whether you asked for it or not)
✅ Excellent with the ladies
✅ Vigilant flock protector
✅ Handsome and knows it
✅ Never misses a sunrise

Personality:

* Loves hens.
* Tolerates chickens.
* Has strong opinions about humans.
* Would prefer if people respected his personal space and admired him from a distance.
* Doesn’t attack, just judges you harshly from across the yard.

Think of him as that coworker who shows up early, does his job perfectly, but refuses to attend team-building exercises.

If you’re looking for a rooster that will lovingly dote on his hens while making it abundantly clear that he did not request human interaction, he’s your guy.

🏡 Best suited for a flock that appreciates professionalism over friendship.

No Rehoming Fee. Serious inquiries only. He already thinks most of humanity is disappointing. 🐓😂

Oh and his name is Richard because we can’t yell “Dick” in front of the kids!
