One of the best parts of our Longhorn journey has been the people.

Today, our friends George and Annie Wartsbaugh from G&A Country Club Ranch along with Tango stopped by Square One on their way to the Great Lakes Texas Longhorn Association Futurity this weekend.

George recently bought one of those fancy Tesla trucks, so naturally we had to get a picture of it at our self-service produce stand in rural Missouri. 😆

It’s funny when you think about it—a high-tech truck from the future parked next to an honor-system produce stand where people leave cash in a box and buy tomatoes around the clock.

But that’s what makes this industry special. No matter where we’re from or what we’re driving, the friendships are what matter most. We’ve met some truly incredible people through these cattle, and George and Annie are definitely among them.

The cattle may have introduced us, but the friendships are what keep us coming back. We’re grateful for the visits, the laughs, the stories shared along the way, and the people who have become more like family than friends.

Safe travels, George, Annie and Tango. Thanks for making Square One one of your stops along the journey.
