The end of June I did my first ( in a long time) special cupcake and smash cake order for a very special 1st birthday party!

I will be honest, my ocd took over, my overthinking brain kept me up a few nights. But when I was drawing it out, I could see it come together.

I still have a lot to learn with decorating and I enjoyed learning new techniques. My hand isn't what it used to be for fine details and I struggle and realized that but I keep learning to make the shift and learn otherways.

A double chocolate rice krispie treat!

What makes this so delicious is the double chocolate cereal and fluff. I use chocolate rice krispies and cocoa pebbles, marshmallows and Fluff is added to mix and then I top with melted chocolate and top with some sprinkles!

So gooey!!! So yummy!!!

Such a versatile delicious treat! Perfect for after school snack or for a team treat.

Earlier in the summer when I introduced my Summer Bliss Cookies, (Lemon,Orange, Strawberry and Blueberry White Chocolate) i wasn't overly impressed with how the Strawberry and Blueberry topping came out.

I got to thinking about it, and last year I made a cookie with a crumble type topping.

It was a lightbulb moment, I bought Golden Oreos ran them thru the food processor, melted some butter mixed them together with freeze dried powder of each flavor. Baked for about 8 minutes. This resembles the Lemon orange sugar topping that I originally had envisioned for these cookies.

Was very happy how these came out this time around!

Working on my cookie menu for this weeks events.

I will say this is the last time you will see any of the Summer Cookie Collection. I have revamped my Strawberry and Blueberry topping I personally didn't like how they looked. 🤷‍♀️
Oh and of course there's the Lemon Drop and Orange Dreamsicle!!! And more.....stay tuned.
