One of my favorite things about Rustic Crumb is the community behind it.. there’s nothing better than spending a Saturday morning catching up with y’all and actually chatting with those of you that I interact with on here!

I’ve got THREE boxes of orange scones still looking for their homes! 🍊

🍊 : Orange zesty dough + maple orange glaze… one of my fav flavor combos yet. Come grab one before I end up with another box myself! 😉

I was chatting with a friend about my current obsession with scones when she mentioned how they’re a perfect mix of a biscuit + a muffin, and she was RIGHT.

They’re not too sweet, but sweet enough to satisfy. They’re not crumbly or dry but rather, moist enough to hold in the flavor profile wonderfully. Not to mention the flavor options are absolutely ENDLESS.

This is just the beginning of my scone journey and I have tons of sweet + SAVORY flavors ahead.

🚨• reminder: all of my cake pop doughs are from scratch - which I’m super proud of because the texture can be hard to get right when not using a box mix.

• I’ve got bags so you can easily carry your goods, the cash box out, and my codes ready to scan. ❤️‍🔥

The orange scones are not my sourdough scones but they are fabulous nonetheless. However, I will probably stick to the sourdough base because I think it does give a better end product.

The glaze on these orange scones is DANGEROUS you guys…. I finished baking them scones about 2 AM and I’ve had two already.. to myself. 😂

•9x12 funfetti cake with vanilla buttercream frosting 🍰

I was so excited when this order came in… I’ve loved the Flintstones since I was little and we’ve even dressed up as the Flintstone family for Halloween 🎃 👻

The only request for this cake was the text on it and Bam Bam so I did a buttercream transfer of him and I was thrilled with how it came out.

The triangles and bones are done in buttercream and the rocks are done in homemade marshmallow fondant colored with different mixes of dye free colors. 🩶

Now hang on.. Guys, these are actually one of my BEST baked goods…let me tell you why: 🤭

Okay so my mother HATES sourdough. The look, the act of, the smell, all of it. I’ve actually seen her gag just from me talking about it. 😂 But she devoured these scones and loved every second. I didn’t mention the sourdough (it didn’t even cross my mind at the time) & she clearly didn’t have a CLUE. She even left a comment on a random post from my page about how amazing they were a few days later. 😂

Therefore you all have to try them, even if you hate sourdough. 🤣 I’ve got plenty. Come get them.

Absolutely spoiled with this vanilla peach syrup from my girl Missy Schultz 🤤

It’s been my go to mixed in heavy cream + milk for my coffee. 💕

Today we enjoyed it on our sourdough pancakes. 🥞 absolutely scrumptious!

She also gifted me some jelly and homemade vanilla with my syrup. 🥹
