Words cannot fully express how grateful I am to share that SophintheKitchen has been voted Best Sweet Treats for the SECOND year in a row at the 2026 Fairfield-Suisun Buzz Awards! 🧁💛

When I first started this business four and a half years ago, I was navigating a season of deep grief and learning to adjust after stepping away from my career to focus on being a mother. What began as a way to find healing and purpose has grown into a thriving journey I never could have imagined. Standing alongside big-box retailers and recognized corporate names, winning an award like this as a small, local business is a true honor that shows the incredible power of supporting small and shopping local.

Above all, being able to build this business while showing my two little girls that you can overcome difficult seasons, work hard, and turn passion into something beautiful is the greatest reward of all. I hope to set an example for them every single day that anything is possible.

To my amazing clients: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for trusting me with your special occasions, for referring me to your friends, and for choosing small businesses in our community. Every order, every tag, and every word of mouth recommendation truly keeps this dream alive.
