Tonight’s full moon 🌕 named the strawberry moon is the first full moon of summer 2026 🍓🌕

🍓 The common definition of a supermoon is any full Moon that is at a distance of at least 90% of perigee (the point at which the Moon is closest to Earth). 🌕

🍓 The name comes from Native American tribes, especially the Algonquin people, who used seasonal moon names to track the year. June’s full moon signaled the time when wild strawberries were ready to be harvested in parts of North America.

In the kitchen, each color has its purpose, here’s how to make the most of green, yellow, and red peppers 👇✨🍴

💚The natural green color of bell peppers comes from the presence of chlorophyll.
As the pepper ripens on the plant, the chlorophyll breaks down and other pigments begin to develop, such as carotenoids (which give yellow and orange colors)💛, and specifically capsanthin and capsorubin (which give the intense red color)❤️.

So, saying that a green pepper ripens into a red (or other colored) one is not misinformation; it's an accurate description of a specific biological and chemical process that occurs within the plant.

👉 Flavor: The riper the bell pepper, the sweeter it gets! 😋
👉 Vitamins: Over time, their Vitamin C and antioxidant levels increase 💪
👉 Sugars: The riper they are, the richer and tastier they become, thanks to a higher concentration of natural sugars 😎
