Sheep & Wool Festival 2026! 🐑🧶

Not quite as many photos this year since we brought the kids along, and the barns were definitely a little more intense and packed than last year. But we still had a successful day, saw lots of beautiful sheep, and came home with a bag full of goodies to spin up!

The other day I was thinking about how badly I used to want a mule halter for the horses. Since I no longer have horses, naturally my next thought was, “How cute would the sheep be in one?”

Not surprisingly, there’s a very slim sheep mule halter market.

So I thought… ya know, it’s been a while since I taught myself some probably-for-me-useless skill. And somehow that thought got us here.

I left the poll strap a little too long, but overall? Not bad

And it didn’t fall apart while I was dragging Bianca away from her food, so I’m counting this one as a win. ✌🏻

Now I just need to decide how many sheep need one…
