This Thursday is Hoot Owl Crafts & Baking’s final appearance at the Farmers’ Market this season.

The Military Order of the Purple Heart Fort Findlay Chapter 1974 is launching a new feature at the Hancock County Farmers’ Market: Sage Perennials Giving Advice.

Local veterans will share their life experience, wit, and humor with the community. Need some perspective on life? Relationships? Raising a family? Wondering whether you should have made a different decision 20 years ago?

Bring Your Mystery Items

Have something weird, old, or unidentified tucked away in an attic, basement, garage, or toolbox? Bring it to the market and see whether the Sage Perennials can figure out what it is. Put decades of accumulated experience to the test, and enjoy the stories, theories, and laughs that may come with the answer.

The idea was inspired by “Old Coots Giving Advice,” a Salt Lake City farmers’ market feature built around a simple premise: It’s probably bad advice, but it’s free.
