There is the coolest aquatic nursery on Bay Rd in Street,Md. The hard working propitiator has created her dream by obvious crazy hard work and being so knowledgeable in her field. While it appears much of her sales seem to be wholesale it is fun to visit and purchase beautiful plants.
She has aquatic plants that you can put in containers on your porch or in your pond. I love the vast display of water lilies.
Great place for a gift for someone special 😉, maybe yourself😃.

This lovely guy or girl was crossing our driveway today. While I now know that the Painted Turtle is quite common, this is the first for me. The colors were crazy beautiful. It as a mid size turtle much smaller than a box turtle.

I really can see the wisdom in investing in a saddle that can be rebuilt to the specifications of the horse you presently own. My friend retired a tall slimmer horse and her new model is short and stocky. She made an appointment with her saddle fitter and while it involved a several hour process, her beautiful dressage saddle was completely rebuilt to custom fit the new horse; brilliant.

Spring flower buying is serious business for me. Here are tips that I follow….

Now that EVERYTHING is so very expensive I would advise picking up an extra shift where you work….😮

Have ample time….

Get a great cup of coffee for the ride…..

Get the tunes going, if possible put down the windows….

If you can’t take the PERFECT garden friend, go by yourself so no one holds you back…..

Stroll through the greenhouses…make audible noises when overwhelmed with the beauty.

Make eye contact and nod to others having the same spiritual experience, no need to chat.

Don’t act surprised at the cost, just lean in.

Bring those beauties home and enjoy. Think and talk to yourself about placement, temperatures, and your garden expansion.

Buy wine on the way home to toast the day.

Lancer and I had the pleasure of meeting Alison Caiazzo who is an licensed Equine Massage therapist. She donated a session to Maryland Dressage Association and I won the bid at our January awards banquet. She identified and worked through some trouble/ tight areas in his muscles. We will definitely be having her back, she was knowledgeable, kind, quiet, and thorough.
