What an incredible testimony to what adding raw milk to your life can do. I was so blessed by this exchange. I read it to my family to remind everyone that what we do isn't just "make milk".....but to some people....its medicine.

These are somatic cell count tests. Its a quick and easy way for us to check the udder health of our lactating cows. High somatic cell count indicates an issue with the specific chamber of an individual cow.

These yellow tests tell us that they have a clean and dry place to relax, and our end of milking udder process is working as it should.

When SCC is high you have a lowered production in milk, a decreased shelf life and a decrease of fats in the milk.

We love seeing these yellow dots :)

(We have 6 tests because we have a cow getting ready to join the rotation and we wanted to check her out as well)

Meet Waylon. We met his previous owner about a year ago when we bought a 1963 dump truck from him for a steal. When his health declined he talked about his dog coming to live on the farm on Rosebud Creek.

Waylon's owner passed away recently and we thought it was only right that we created a home here for him. ❤️❤️❤️

He has joined the farm and immediately fit right in. Sometimes kindness is just honoring someone's last wishes when it comes to their pets.

Its Farmshare Renewal Time!!! Current Farmshare members have the opportunity to renew their farmshares between now and Sept 2nd. After that date, we will open up the opportunity for new members to join with the remaining availability.
