Yesterday, we shared about the theft from our roadside market, and we have been truly overwhelmed by the number of people who reached out, commented, shared our post, and offered words of encouragement. Thank you. ❤️

Today, we want to turn the focus to something positive — supporting the incredible local vendors who have stocked our market and trusted us with their products.

These are small businesses, bakers, makers, and families in our community. When you purchase from them, share their page, recommend them to a friend, or stop by one of their markets, you are supporting a real person and a real dream.

Here are some of the wonderful vendors who regularly stocked our roadside market:

What happened yesterday was disappointing, but the response from our community reminded us that there is still SO MUCH GOOD here.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Our roadside Honor Market will no longer carry products from local vendors.

Over the past several months, we’ve had items stolen repeatedly. Today, we came in to find HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS in merchandise gone—including artwork and products placed there by local vendors.

We can no longer ask our friends and local business owners to trust us with their products while they continue to lose substantial amounts of money to theft.

Honestly, we’re devastated.

Not because we expect everyone to be perfect, but because we believed an Honor Market represented something bigger—a return to a time when neighbors respected one another, supported local businesses, and did the right thing when no one was watching.

We’ve always said: If you need food, please tell us. We will feed you. We still mean that. Our commitment to kindness and giving back isn’t changing.

But today, we have to draw a line—not because we’ve stopped caring, but because we can no longer stand by and watch our local friends get taken advantage of.

Maybe the saddest part is that we thought an Honor Market would remind us of who we could be as a community. Today, we were reminded of how far we still have to go.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Honor Market and, most importantly, our local vendors.

So many reasons to come to our Summer Artisan and Farmers Market on Saturday Aug 22, but here’s one more reason you don’t want to miss!

We are raffling off 10 Meishan hogs! 🐖

But we know how important it is to know where your food comes from.

Here’s the rules…

🐷Come to our table @ the Summer Artisan and Farmers Market;
🐷Buy a raffle ticket, 🎟️ $10;
🐷We will notify you on Monday 8/24 if you are a winner.
🐷Tickets are non-refundable.
🐷Tickets may be transferred to a friend or family member if you win.
🐷Winners are responsible for paying all processing fees. We can provide luxury transportation to the processor but the winner must pick up at their location.

What an amazing farmers market season! 🤍🌻

We are so incredibly thankful for every person who stopped by our booth this year. We met so many wonderful new people, and there is something extra special about seeing the familiar faces of our regular customers week after week. Your support of our little farm means more to us than you know.

A huge THANK YOU to the City of Fountain Inn and all of the incredible staff who work so hard behind the scenes to make the Fountain Inn Farmers Market such a wonderful place for our community. We appreciate all that you do!
