The Experimental Series vault opens Saturday, and Brett Connors is here to walk you through one of our most exciting releases yet. Our Wheated Bourbon finished in Martinique Rum Casks spent nearly 15 months in those storied Caribbean casks, and every note in the glass tells that story.
Expect aromas of vanilla custard, praline, dried mango, papaya, toasted coconut, tarragon, grapefruit peel, allspice, and ripe plantain. On the palate, crème brûlée, grilled pineapple, clove, baking chocolate, and Demerara sugar carry you into a finish that is velvety and warm, with brown butter, toasted oak, and a sweetness that lingers long after the last sip.
Available exclusively in the Boiler Room and at Castle & Key 502, these bottles are rare by design with extremely limited availability. If you're planning to be there Saturday, plan to arrive early as lines may begin at 10am.
