Raising your own beef isn’t for everyone, but for us, it’s something we take a lot of pride in. 🤍 Knowing our animals have been treated with love, care, and respect every step of the way means so much to us. They’ve had good lives, plenty of care, and so many connections made along the way.

And the best part? The kids get to enjoy their very own rodeo in the backyard on a daily basis. 😂

Teaching them in ways they don’t even realize they’re learning… 🤍

Responsibility, hard work, patience, compassion, and the value of caring for something beyond yourself. Some of the biggest life lessons don’t come from a classroom, but from the everyday moments we get to share with them. Raising them right alongside us, letting them get their hands dirty, ask questions, make mistakes, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

One of the parts of the ranching and farming community that I love the most is the willingness to work together.

You give some, you take some, and somehow we all find ways to help each other out. In a world where it can sometimes feel like everyone is just looking out for themselves, that part of this community makes me really happy.

Right now, we’re housing four piggies from Legendary Livestock llc as part of our breeding program. They’ll stay here while our boar, aka Ralph, does his job, and then they’ll head back home.

It’s a win win for everyone. It gives Ralph some company during the off-season for our girls, while also helping out friends of ours with their breeding program.

We take HUGE pride in Ralph. He has an amazing temperament, a great build, and has been such a good boy for us. We’re excited to see what these partnerships bring and even more thankful to be part of a community where we can all work together, share resources, and help each other succeed. 🤍

Teaching the youngest the ropes! 🤍 he’s always so eager to learn and help out on the farm! He loves everything that goes EXCEPT going in a vehicle. He does not like going for rides in a car/truck at all because he can’t sit still to save his life 🤣

Ignore me being out of breath 😅 we’re cleaning up outside and i brought some sticks to the pile and decided to stop and make a video because we are absolutely getting overrun with stuff for the stand 😅

Teaching our kiddos the important things in life one step at a time 😉

The kiddos were able to test out their basketball hoop finally the other night! Their excitement just melts my heart 😍

The farming/ranching community is hurting a little extra today. Send some prayers to the Mast family as they need them so badly this morning 🙏🏽
