Y’all need to start buying and eating the more economical dark meat of the chicken. It’s so much better than breast meat. And it is tender and delicious. You just gotta get it off the bone:) Try it this Sunday Salem, NH Farmers Market.

The state of New Hampshire currently enjoys a federal exemption for Processing poultry and Rabbit and selling direct to consumer. It’s about time we do it with red meat. Today I can sell you a whole lamb or a half lamb but I can’t sell you a chop. It’s not about food safety, it’s about food, commerce, leveling the playing field and giving small farmers an opportunity to profit in this space.

Call me crazy cuz I’ll be at the Salem, NH Farmers Market this Sunday. Market closes at noon. Fresh eggs don’t mind the rain. Run out and grab some and get some soup bones while you’re at it.

Last hatch of the season. As we welcome fall I’ll be harvesting the last batches of duck and chicken. It’s also time to start thinking of your holiday tables. I’ll have some fresh goose to show and sell tomorrow at the Salem, NH Farmers Market.

Good Sunday Morning! Flying M is off today and will not be at the market. Still taking care of business at home (like the buffing up of Barry), but enjoying friends and family for the holiday.
