Mother Nature sure showed her power and beauty this year and we’re only 4 months in! We had a long cold winter but even in the depths of winter there was beauty to be found. I found it in the incredible sunrises that colored the morning skies. I found beauty in falling snow, as it quietly covered the earth, transforming the earth into a wintery wonderland.
And now Mother Nature has begun yet another stunning transformation as we welcome Spring. The soft and delicate flowers have a short life but they bring joy and beauty that has been long awaited. The vibrant green of the trees pops against the blue skies. And the steady Spring rain nourishes the earth blessing us with bountiful gardens. Summer is right around the corner. It’s the season of fireflies, thunderstorms and long days full of sun and fun.
And finally, Autumn. It’s definitely Spring’s top competitor. This is where Mother Nature really shows off. The days turn cool as we welcome the much need Autumn breeze. And yet again, I’m awestruck at how Mother Nature transforms the Earth with hues of bright yellow, orange and fiery red. It’s a literal feast for my eyes.
I know this one’s a long one but I can’t say enough about our gorgeous planet. I hope you are able to find small pieces of heaven in each season. Mother Nature has so much to offer. So slow down, stop and smell the roses (literally), take care of this beautiful Earth, our home.
