So sad when you allow your business’ playground to stay open even after closing to let people enjoy it. Then they trash the parking lot doing donuts and spreading the rocks all through the yard. Then laugh at you as they leave-yes I was right there!

As we approach the cherry season, do you know what a drupe is? It is a kind of fleshy fruit that has a thin outer skin and a stone or pit at the center containing its seed. And since cherries check all of the above-mentioned criteria, they’re considered a drupe.
Dutch Farm Market will begin having sweet cherries soon, just not quite yet!! U-pick will still be decided on as they are closer to ripe and as always, on how many the birds leave for us!! Crop is very short/light this year (again!), just an FYI.
