IMPORTANT UPDATE: The recent water restriction due to a temporary mechanical failure last Thursday was the reason to restrict unnecessary water usage or outdoor watering until the issue was resolved. It was not implied in our notice to not use it. The mechanical issue was resolved.
Also, we are in the process of our flushing program and residents are notified by a reverse 911 call, a day in advance, of when we will be in your area which may cause a temporary water discoloration while we are performing this maintenance. After the flushing in your area, we ask you run your "cold" water tap only for 3-4 mins. to clear out any discoloration that flushing may have caused.
If you ever experience discolored water and/or if it consists longer than normal after flushing then there could be other other factors causing this. (i.e. your independent service line may need to be flushed). We would appreciate you call us with what's happening. Many times we can answer your concern and put in place a troubleshooting plan to resolve your issue. So call and let us know immediately.
