We are open for wine tasting by appointment only, the 1st and 3rd Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of each month from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, last tasting begins at 3:30 pm. Martin Ranch Winery is a family-owned & operated winery and vineyard located just outside Gilroy and Morgan Hill. For over 20 years winemakers Dan and Thérèse Martin have been crafting exquisite award winning wines which have accum

ulated international accolades. The winery itself is located in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Whether you find yourself taking in sweeping views of the pond and hillside, strolling past Thérèse's organic garden, or on one of Dan's barrel room tours- you are sure to enjoy your time at Martin Ranch Winery. We are open for tasting the first and third Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each month from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, and for general inquiries Monday through Thursday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

🐉🌿 Tiny Wings. Big Role.

There’s more happening around the vineyard than meets the eye! 👀🍇 Meet one of our fascinating summer visitors—the dragonfly.
These incredible little predators are an important part of a healthy ecosystem at the ranch. As adults, dragonflies are expert aerial hunters, catching flying insects like mosquitoes, flies, moths, and gnats right out of the air. Their aquatic young, called nymphs, spend much of their lives in water and feed on mosquito larvae and other aquatic insects.

That means when you see dragonflies darting through the vineyard, gardens, or around the ranch, you’re watching nature’s own pest-control team at work. 🐉✨

And here’s a fun fact: dragonflies are incredibly agile flyers, with exceptional vision that helps them track and capture prey mid-air. California is home to roughly 100 dragonfly species, so there’s plenty of variety to keep an eye out for.

Our honey bees have become part of the ranch family, and now we're inviting you to learn more about these incredible pollinators and the future of beekeeping here at Martin Ranch.

Join us for A Morning with the Honey Bees on September 5 | 8–10 AM with Koophaus Apiaries.

You'll discover more about the bee population living at the ranch, the history and future of beekeeping, and get a sneak peek at what we're working toward with our Estate Honey. 🍯
