Today was graduation day. 🎓

Seventeen years ago, I dropped off a little boy at preschool and wondered who he would become.

Today, I watched him walk across the stage with his Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Cal Poly.

The degree is impressive, but what makes me proud is the person he’s become along the way: hardworking, kind, resilient, curious, and determined.

Being Riley’s mom has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

Congratulations, Riley. We couldn’t be prouder of you. ❤️
