Celebrating National Coffee Day with some of the cutest and most unique coffee shops I’ve visited across Texas!

I always make it a point to find a coffee shop in the area, try a latte that’s a bit different and enjoy the vibe while there!

I love taking a weekday off here and there and spending it in Austin! It’s a chance to knock a few places off my Austin list and avoid some of the weekend crowds and traffic!

Here’s how I spent a day off in Austin, TX ⤵️

🔹10:30 AM — Pastry at + coffee next door ☕️ 🥐. You’ll find the bakery inside located (plenty of really cool murals and spots here)

🔹 12:30 PM — Lunch 🌮 - tried the chicken, beef suadero and mushroom but the mushroom (add grilled cheese) was my fave! They also make a fresh agua fresca flavor daily!

🔹 4:30 PM — Happy hour at 🍹🍔
Happy hour is daily 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

🔹 6:00 PM — A stroll through downtown 🌿

🔹 7:30 PM — One last drink at .austin 🍹
One of the best margaritas I’ve had in Austin! I went back another night and tried the pineapple, cucumber and watermelon, all great flavors!! 🍍🍉🥒

A HILL COUNTRY DAY DRINKING ROUTE

Y’all know I love a good drink or two, so here’s
a little day drinking itinerary for when you want to make a whole day in the the Texas Hill Country!

Obviously, the goal isn’t trying to hit every single spot 😅, just pick some that interest you, take your time, eat something, and enjoy the hill country!

🍽️ Lunch at Homespun Kitchen + Bar (one of my personal favorite stops for chicken fried chicken)

🍽️ Lunch at Hays City Store - love the food here, margs are great and they use fresh juices!

WIMBERLEY
🍷 Ranch Brand Winery & Distillery - we loved the pimento cheese + Port A Special drink!
🥂 Wimberley Valley Winery
🌮 A bite + margarita from Nada Mucho.
🛍️ Be sure to wander around the shops!
🍕 Community Pizza is the best spot for a bite to eat. They have great margaritas as well!

I loved staying at Next Weekend on the Square, a charming and historic Airbnb located right on the Square! It can sleep up to nine people, and this would be perfect for a family, a girls trip or a group getaway!! 🏡

One of the best parts was being able to step right outside and walk to almost everything! As you can see, I was only steps away from coffee, shops, restaurants, and all these little corners that make it so charming here!
