Look at this stuff, isn’t it neat? 🧪🔧

Yesterday was tap cleaning day—a bi-weekly ritual here at Transparent. Lexi & Nichole disconnected all of our keg lines, stripped down the tap handles, flushed the system, scrubbed every single piece, and reassembled it all.

Why go through all that hassle?
Here’s the science behind the scrub: uncleaned draft lines accumulate beer stone (calcium oxalate) and slippery biofilms that become a breeding ground for wild yeast and bacteria like Lactobacillus. Left unchecked, these microscopic invaders ruin a great craft brew and mess with your beer's carbonation.

Thanks to meticulous line maintenance, you can rest easy knowing your next pint at Transparent won’t taste like movie theater butter, sour milk, or wet cardboard—just pure, crisp, brewery-fresh beer the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

Tomorrow is the big day, Grandview! 🍻

We can hardly believe it’s been 6 incredible years of pouring great beer, sharing laughs, and building memories with the absolute best community around. We are so deeply grateful for every single one of you who has walked through our doors, filled a growler, or raised a glass with us along the way.

We’ve been prepping all week, and we cannot WAIT to celebrate six years of craft beer with you tomorrow!

Here’s a quick reminder of what’s going down:

It's BINGO Thursday.
It's Nacho Average Thursday.
And we're in the final few days before our 6th anniversary party!
The fun on Saturday kicks off at noon! With the purchase of a full pour of beer, we will have commemorative 6th Anniversary glasses for the first 100 people (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST), live music on the patio all day kicking off at 12 pm with Micah Smith Acoustic-Music Covers, followed by Howard Mahan - Band/Music at 3 pm, and Tim & Ang Music at 6 pm! Be sure to get a raffle ticket from one of our friendly beertenders as we will be drawing for raffle giveaways all day. And if you haven't been in to try our new menu items Saturday will be the perfect day to test out some street tacos-- carne asada, anyone? Oh, and did we mention we'll have some new beers too??

The garage doors will be open all day and we will have overflow seating available in the IPA and the green space. If the parking lot is full, remember that White Ave. also allows street parking. We can't wait to see everyone & celebrate 6 years of beer in Grandview! 🍻
