Dustin Echelbarger update 🧐
Were you or someone you know, affected by the John deere salesman, who stole from hundreds of farmers, individuals and construction companies?
Can you spare 2 minutes to whip up a email?? Your email remains anonymous.
It is possible Dustin could receive little to NO additional jail time under the proposed plea agreement currently being offered in his Grant County Case. ( This is not referencing other counties)
We received a letter from the victim advocate asking victims and community members to voice any concerns or objections directly to the prosecutor’s office — and we need as many people as humanly possible to email in.
If you have been personally affected by Dustin’s actions, know someone who has, did business with him, lost money because of him, or simply believe the court deserves to hear the full impact this has had on people, PLEASE send an email to:
[email protected]
This is not someone who made one bad decision. There are hundreds of victims. Many are not even included in the current charges. People have lost savings, businesses, property, trust, entire farms and peace of mind. Some may never financially recover.
What is most frustrating is the continued pattern. Despite an extensive criminal history involving fraud, intimidation, weapons charges, and repeated legal issues, he continues to avoid meaningful consequences while continuing the same behavior over and over again.
We only received this letter a few days ago even though it was dated April 27th, so time is important.
Please keep emails respectful and factual, but PLEASE make your voice heard. The prosecutor’s office specifically asked for victim input, and right now every single email matters.
I am attaching the proposed plea agreement for anyone who wants to read it themselves.
Please share this post so we can reach as many victims and affected families as possible. If you know someone impacted by Dustin Echelbarger directly or indirectly who may not see this, please send it to them directly.
Here's a couple of articles about the situation locally. If you'd like to read more, simply google his name
