Does preconditioning pay? Results from the Advanced PVAP program say yes. Across 2,603 calves and 77 closeouts, producers added an average of 185 pounds and $247.86 per head in net value over selling at weaning — and calves sold through breeder-sponsored sales earned the highest premiums.
