Did y’all know that Farmers Eric and Rachel joined the Dunham crew in Virginia? Yep, the Carrot Crew lives on! We worked together for eight years before this move and are SO grateful to be working alongside them again.

Willowsford Farm is a certified organic vegetable and livestock farm in Loudoun County, Virgina. It feels really weird growing potatoes in Virginia and even more bizarre taking videos of Andy like I did on our farm. We miss the Iowa soil, our friends and more, but are grateful for the opportunity to continue farming at Willowsford Farm. We hope you're all well.

February's polar vortex has given way to spring. It was a beautiful afternoon on Wednesday, ending with a tornado watch and a thunderstorm. Global weirding due to climate change is on display in the Midwest.

Cancelled - GHF pizza and physically distanced concert tonight. The farm sustained a lot of damage due to the derecho on Monday. We still don’t have power or well water and are busy cleaning up trees and debris. We lost the greenhouses and an outbuilding & have damage to the barn, packing shed, and other structures. Thank you to everyone who has helped us this week. Be safe while cleaning everyone!

This winter we weren't quite sure what this season would bring us, but we're happy to say we're still delivering to the CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank in Iowa City. Today they received some beautiful garlic!
