Walking back to the hotel, completely stuffed, Patcharee decides she wants something more. Grilled squid.

As we're waiting for the squid to cook, the woman begins taking orders from her phone - text orders, nonetheless. Reminiscent of Patcharee's ordering system. The sidekick must have discovered the template for Patcharee's on a Bangkok street - slightly lubricated.

On a side note, last year the sidekick gained 15 lbs in 3 short weeks. He's hoping not to break the record.

Patcharee and her sidekick's annual vacation is approaching! Time to over indulge or stock up on Thai food - last day to order before she goes is the 16th of October. Closed on the 17th of October. Reopening on the 17th of November.

The newest addition is Suyuri (Little Lilly): a creamy Nigori (unfiltered) sake. Smooth easy drinking profile, with floral aromas and gentle notes of white grapes and cherry blossoms. 12.5%. Best served chilled.

Yes, it finally happened! A liquor license appeared on Patcharee's kitchen doorstep - sort of (thank you Laura.)

The initial line up of b**r and other libation material pictured. We'll keep an eye on what's popular- and not. Trim and expand as needed.

The first two nights sales had one winner: B**r Lao Dark. It's deliciousness cannot be described in words. Runner up: B**r Lao White.
Chang gets an honorable mention.

Did you know 20% of all b**r sales are non-alcoholic? Where's the fun in that? Well, as a former publican, I have learned to never disregard even the smallest alcohol datum. So we've also got several NA choices.
