Why do I bathe my goats in the summer? Here’s a little before-and-after answer. Before with the humidity starting to matte the fleece at the base and then after bath and blow out, no more sticky. Both photos were taken with the blower pointed at the shoulder.

This dude is his mamma’s twin, except he is definitely going to outgrow her. He’s our biggest buckling of the year weighing in at nearly 33 pounds at nine weeks old. He will be going to a farm in Indiana as a herd sire. Out of Caney Fork Pygoras Sirius Lee Black and Little Hawk Farm Praline.

Last kid of the season arrived this morning, and oh my goodness he just might be the most beautiful of them all. CFP Mabel and LHF Re*****on had a single buckling. This guy will either go as a herd sire or stay on the farm as our new show wether. :)
