DAY 1 1 DAY.
Had a great time with our soft launch "Launch & Learn" this week. We were able to transform an underused, storage space into the state's first and only indoor, agriculture growing lab and innovation center on campus.
iA Labs 😎 ☘ 🥗

Our mission, two-fold;
1. Help toward the fight on statewide food insecurity utilizing the resources of indoor agriculture and hydroponics.
2. Create a working space for hobbyist, entrepreneurs, students, and researchers, and opportunities for community engagement and economic development.

Thank you to our amazing partners at The College of New Jersey, specifically TCNJ School of Engineering and TCNJ Science and the multi-talented team that helped this all come together. And I can't forget about Jennifer Keyes-Maloney, Andrea Welker, and Sunita Kramer who saw my vision over a year ago.

We are ecstatic about our new partnership with The College of New Jersey, TCNJ Engineering. It has been a long time in the making but it is finally here, and we are looking to make sure it stays! An innovation center focused on vertical farming, indoor agriculture, economic development, and food deserts. We are creating an environment for innovators, creators, and entrepreneurs that wish to delve further into these categories and make a true impact - whether high school, higher learning and collegiate students, entrepreneurs, or beginners....its going to be something special!

It's been a while since we have posted, but first things first I have to congratulate the young leaders in this video. Last year we partnered with Mercer County Vocational school to not only help open the minds of tomorrow's young leaders on hydroponics and vertical farming, but also the topic of food deserts and the fight against them!

I gave these young men and women the information, and they took it to the next level, and went on to win 1st place nationally at Skills USA Challenge. Extremely proud of the entire winning group and the fact we were able to help make an impact in the short period of time. 😎 🏆 🍀 🥗
