What a busy few weeks we have had. We have corn growing, wheat in the ground, our luffa arches are growing like crazy, the pumpkin patches are starting to vine, and our next 2 plots are tarped for fall planting.

God bless having extra sets of hands.

We are one of the 3 stops for the national stakeholder conference!! Can’t wait to represent small scale, urban agriculture in our area!

October 25-27, 2026 | Williamsburg, Virginia The Farmer Veteran Stakeholders Conference is the largest national annual gathering of the agriculture and military communities and features three days of education, distinguished speakers, guest panels, networking, a farm tour, camaraderie and much more.

It's Bee & Butterfly Week! 🐝🦋🌱

We have so many fun activities planned! This week children will examine a real honeycomb, play in our pretend flower shop, create beautiful flower crowns & clay bees, explore butterfly symmetry, and learn the butterfly life cycle with hands-on materials… Just to name a few!
