Rockn50 Ranch Horse and cattle ranch The name "Rockn50" ranch is derived from our connection to over 30 years in law enforcement.

Some refer to law enforcement as "five-0", a reference to the old TV show, Hawaii 50. Add the rocker below (rocking chair) and you get the name and brand which singnifies retired law enforcement and this place, the culumination of a life-long retirement plan.

Backyard Rain Garden: Beauty with a Purpose

This thoughtfully designed backyard drainage feature transforms a simple downspout outlet into an attractive and functional rain garden. Water from the roof flows through a natural-looking stream lined with smooth stones, helping to direct runoff safely away from the home's foundation.

The carefully arranged rocks slow the movement of water, reducing erosion while encouraging natural infiltration into the soil.
The winding shape blends seamlessly with the surrounding lawn, creating the appearance of a small seasonal creek.

Beyond its visual appeal, this type of landscape design supports sustainable water management by controlling stormwater, minimizing flooding, and protecting nearby soil and plants.
It is a practical solution that combines environmental benefits with low-maintenance landscaping.

This charming rain garden demonstrates how simple design elements can enhance both the functionality and beauty of a residential outdoor space.
