We pride ourselves on our pastured lamb, raised with care to our own high personal standards here in Isle of Wight County, Virginia and Hertford, North Carolina. We raise lamb because we love to eat it. It’s a delicious, lean meat with a mild flavor, and so versatile! We found good lamb hard to fin

d in Hampton Roads – there were no local producers, and we felt the grocery and warehouse store offerings just didn’t cut it. We’d enjoyed delicious, locally raised beef and pork for years, but where was the lamb? Eventually, we decided to take matters into our own hands! After raising them for our own enjoyment for years, we came to a point where we had too many requests for lamb from friends to fulfill – so we’re growing our capabilities. We have 5 intact 3-4 month old commercial katahdin ram lambs available. Roughly 30 #, on grass and creep feed.

Irie’s 2nd time on sheep, 3rd time working stock in general (she worked goats last month)

It looks far more chaotic and crazed than it is. The goal for puppies IMO, is to go round sheep, change directions, and learn they can’t latch on. She did very well.
