What’s happening on the farm today?

First off, we are keeping an eye to the sky. The safety of our team members and guests remain our top priority.

When the weather isn’t favorable to be out, we’re focusing on indoor tasks. There are lots of pots and tags to sort, clean and ready for next spring. You heard that right; we are already planning for next year before this year ends!

Did you know that most growers and garden centers start placing their spring orders now? Our suppliers need planning time as well and to account for longer grow times.
While we work on our orders, if there is something unique or hard to find, you can contact us now and we will do our best to source it!

Whether we’re in or out today, we’ll be working around the farm. Stop on by for the best selection of Fall Mums, Perennials, Shrubs, Herbs and Fall Annuals!

Many believe that spring time is the best time to create a new garden space. Sure, we can see why. The garden centers are busting with fresh, new inventory, the ground is easily workable and, if you are like us, you’ve spent all winter dreaming about what you want to create.

But, did you know that late summer and fall is also the best time to plant?
Some plants, especially spring blooming shrubs and perennials, need time to settle into a new spot. Their roots benefit from the fall rain and cooler nights (without danger of frost). Daytime temps are also warmer as our spring tends to take a while to arrive and summer hangs on a little longer.
