Up for grabs are assorted bare root trees and shrubs. They all range in height from 3-6 feet plus! We say assorted because there is a hodgepodge of different things. Some we know for sure and others are random. Please don’t ask specifically what is available, but come check them out at the farm. $32.40 each or get 4 for $108.00. You are going to pay upwards of $140.00 for these at the competition! Come early for best selection and size. We are open most days 10-4.

It looks like National Gardening Week is going to end with beautiful weather. Still haven’t gotten into your garden yet? It’s time to get busy planting!

It’s an explosion of color here at the farm! Our annuals, especially the petunias, have been loving the beautiful weather and they look amazing!

We are hosting Petunia Palooza all this week!

We have an abundance of petunias left in 4 inch pots that are ready for planting. Add a quick easy burst of color in your gardens, or create a stunning display in containers or porch pots.

We have red ones, pink ones, blue ones, purple ones, coral ones, yellow ones, black (yes!) ones, white ones, multi colored variegated ones, small flowers, huge flowers, and even a limited supply of branded Proven Winners!

Now through Sunday, non-branded petunias are $4.32 each. By a flat of 10 and we’ll take $1 off each plant. But a flat of 18 and save even more, like 30%!

But it doesn’t stop there!
Pick up branded Proven Winners petunias left at $6.48 each, or save $1 each when buying a flat of 10!

It’s a hot one out there today!

Just as humans and pets react to these uncomfortable conditions, plants can also become stressed when the thermometer rises.
You’ll want to make sure any newly planted babies are well watered. Watering in the morning or after dinner is better than in the middle of the day. Your plants will retain more water and you’ll actually save on water consumption!
Porch pots and containers should be moved to a spot that will get some shade, at least until these temperatures break. In doing so, the potted plants won’t heat up as much and will retain a little more moisture.

We are kicking off National Gardening Week with the plants that you didn’t know you needed!

This week is National Gardening Week, and today is a good time to repost this reminder.

Black plant pots are not accepted in your recycling. We accept used pots, tags and trays here at the farm and will gladly take them. It’s helps to keep our costs down and promotes sustainability. A win win for our planet!
