The “Year of the Pausers” (2026) is the latest installment in “Year of” series. While many brands follow the Lunar New Year/Zodiac trend, Saka uses this series to honor real people within the cigar community—in this case, Michelle and Tom Pauser, a well-known couple in the online cigar world often referred to as “The Alaskans.”
Because their tastes are polar opposites, each 14-count box contains two distinct 6×48 pigtail parejos:
The “Michelle”: A Medium-Plus blend rolled at Joya de Nicaragua. It’s a tweaked Sin Compromiso Paladin profile featuring a Mexican San Andrés “Cultivo Tonto” wrapper. Think cocoa, espresso, and silk.
The “Tom”: A Full-bodied powerhouse rolled at NACSA. This marks the debut of the Capa Camaleón wrapper (a hybrid of Habano 2000 and CT Broadleaf). It’s savory, salty, and intense—reminiscent of Triqui Traca.
These are limited to just 2,700 boxes worldwide, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Come grab a pair and decide which side of the Pauser palate you land on.
