ProSharp Mobile Sharpening ProSharp is the Hudson Valley’s trusted local mobile sharpening service, also serving Capital District and eastern Massachusetts.

I was raised on a farm in Louisiana. Hunting and fishing were a way of life. This beginning taught me the value of good sharp implements. Whether it was shearing or processing the bounty of the land, sharp knives and clippers made the work much easier. I developed a keen interest in learning how to keep all my tools sharp and in good shape. Life brought me to New York, where I still love hunting,

fishing and cooking the Cajun dishes I grew up with. Here I realized that although there are good sharpeners around, there was still a place for a good mobile sharpening service. Time is our most valuable asset, and in business, particularly so. This was the beginning of ProSharp, a mobile sharpening service that comes to you, so you do not have to go to a sharpener, or part with your tools to send them out.

Hi Folks, this Saturday 5/30 ProSharp will be at the Kinderhook Farmers Market from 8:30 - 2:00. Bring your knives for a fresh sharp edge to make all your food prep easier and more enjoyable. We also do smaller hand garden tools. The cost is $1.25 per inch of blade. We take cash, credit card, check and Venmo. Look for us in the Kinderhook Knitting Mill Restaurant parking lot.

Hi Folks, ProSharp will be at the Hudson Farmers Market this Saturday 4/25. If you have knives needing some TLC bring them along with you. Drop them off while you shop and you take home knives with a fresh, professional edge. Prepping your fresh produce will be so much easier with your sharp knives.
As always the white ProSharp van will be parked on 6th Street. The cost is $1.25 per inch of blade and we take cash, credit card, check and Venmo.

Good Morning Folks, this Saturday 12/20 ProSharp will be at the Hudson Farmers Market for all your knives needing a fresh, professional edge. Give yourself the gift of good sharp knives to make all your holiday food prep easier. The market is now at its winter location at the Elks Club on Harry Howard Avenue, 10 am to 1 pm. Just look for the white ProSharp van in the parking lot. Cost is $1.25 per inch of blade. We take cash, check, credit card and Venmo. Looking forward to seeing you there.
