⛱️🌊🩴🌞🏊‍♂️🥽🛟 GOOD NEWS! 🛟🥽🏊‍♂️🌞🩴🌊⛱️

Beginning this Friday, May 29th, the swimming beach at Stowers Branch Recreation Area will be open for the Summer. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we monitored and waited for lake levels to recover following an unusually dry spring. Our staff is excited to welcome visitors back to the beach, and we look forward to a safe and enjoyable summer season at Beech Fork Lake!

The swimming area will be open each day from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm. Staff begins clearing the beach at 7:00 pm.

The cost is $5 per vehicle (card only), and is paid at the fee machine adjacent to the toll station on Stowers Branch Road. Access is free for federal pass holders, either America the Beautiful or Corps Annual. Both of which can be purchased at the Beech Fork Lake Visitor Center on weekdays from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Pets and alcohol are prohibited throughout the beach recreation area.

According to Mr. Forecast… the rain is finally moving out after Wednesday, and it looks like Moses AutoMall of Huntington 9th Street Live will be back where it was meant to be — OUTSIDE on 9th Street!

GoMart Happy Hour starts at 5PM

Enjoy 9th Street Libations from the Marshall Hall of Fame Cafe, Summit Beer Station and Sip Downtown Brasserie featuring Tito’s, Milagro, Rebel Bourbon, High Noon, and Lucky One — plus ice-cold beverages from Michelob Ultra, White Claw, Country Boy Brewing, and Big Timber Brewing!

Last night was one for the books!! We had 37 amazing contestants show up for our Karaoke Contest! We have narrowed it down by scoring, and chose 22 people to move on to next week’s competition.
