KFC IS DITCHING PEPSI FOR COKE!
A major change is coming to KFC restaurants across the United States! After nearly 40 years with PepsiCo, KFC has announced a new partnership with Coca-Cola. The switch is expected to begin in January 2027, with Coke products rolling out to all U.S. locations by spring 2027.

Pepsi fans may soon have to find a new drink to go with their fried chicken!
Pepsi will still be available at Taco Bell and many KFC locations internationally.

THAT’S THE WAY THE COOKIE CRUMBLES! DOZENS OF CRUMBL STORES SHUT DOWN
The cookie craze is hitting a rough patch. Crumbl Cookies has reportedly closed at least 57 locations nationwide in 2026 as the popular chain struggles with declining sales and changing consumer spending habits.
Reports indicate the company’s August sales were down 70% compared with the same month in 2024, while customer traffic has also taken a hit.

Central Ohio isn’t immune. The Crumbl location near Easton at 4034 Morse Crossing has closed, and its baking equipment and supplies have gone up for auction. The chain still has other locations in the region.
With rising costs and consumers tightening their budgets, is the cookie craze cooling off?

Feeding the family this Thanksgiving? Sam’s Club says it can feed up to 16 people for about $160 before tax. That’s roughly $10 a person—and somebody else has already done much of the kitchen work!

The Member’s Mark spread includes:
Hickory-smoked turkey and boneless carver ham
Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and turkey gravy
Macaroni and cheese
Sweet corn with garlic butter
Green beans with cranberries and almonds, plus cranberry crunch salad
Yeast dinner rolls
A charcuterie tray
TWO 12-inch pumpkin pies

Sam’s says the meal can be prepared in about two hours. Members can start shopping October 28 in-club, online or through the app.

Gator likes the idea of less time cooking and more time enjoying Thanksgiving.
