I would like to formally introduce our new boy Lenny also known as Leonard. He is a three year-old neutered, male Kangal/Anatolian. This sweet boy is a lover. He absolutely loves on all the humans around here and will definitely need to be in a home where he has human contact. He is currently spending his days on the poultry highline and doing really well with that he does not seem to be bothered by the poultry at all.
In his previous home, he went hiking, to the office, stayed at home and even went trail riding with Horses. I’ve been told that he’s extremely respectful of the horse horses and would do wonderful in a home that took him out trail riding.
He spent the day down with the goats and Sheep yesterday and he was respectful of them a little bit concerned but that’s fairly normal when you’ve never met a Sheep. However, he did complain about being left without any human contact. That being said it’s only his first week here so that’s also fairly normal.
I’m really excited to see this guy settle in. I think he’s going to do wonderful and I may already have some homes in mind for people that are repeat adopters, but we will see who has the best fit for him.
So stay tuned and if you have any questions about Lenny, feel free to reach out.
