Ale’s recipes, imagination, and love of sharing food live on. ❤️
After five years of Ale’s work and two years of mine to bring her vision to completion, I’m proud to share A World of Tiramisù—her final and most personal cookbook, which I edited, completed, and produced, preserving her voice and original vision.
This project was brought to life with the support of Matilde Vicenzi, Official Sponsor of the book. Ale’s collaboration with the brand spanned many years, sharing Italian pastry traditions with American audiences through recipes, demonstrations, and culinary storytelling. Continuing that relationship through her book makes this moment especially meaningful.
The photography is by Alan De Herrera Photography - Food Photographer, Ale’s & OttO's friend and collaborator for nearly twenty years, with whom she had long dreamed of creating a book. Under the culinary direction of Marco Pedron, with food styling by Anna Pedron and support from pastry teams in Treviso and Milan, her creations were prepared and photographed with care, following her original recipes, images, and instructions.
Its pages bring together 44 creative reinterpretations of tiramisù, inspired by her Italian roots, her life in California, and the flavors she discovered along the way.
The book also carries forward the community Ale helped build. She founded the Ale Gambini Tiramisù Academy California. The club joins Tiramisù World Cup & Tiramisù Academy and I LOVE ITALIAN FOODI as Community & Industry Partners of the book.
We’ll officially present the book in Treviso on Saturday, October 10, during the 10th Tiramisù World Cup—a meaningful moment among the people and communities who were part of Ale’s journey.
Above all, this book continues what she loved: sharing her creativity and bringing people together around something sweet.
