Freshstart Farm

FreshStart Farm is a small dairy farm located near Jackson Center, Ohio. FreshStart Farm is a small, pasture based dairy farm located in west central Ohio.

We milk Jersey cows, famous for their rich high component milk. In 2008, we established a private herd share for local people to receive fresh milk directly from the farm. We have since connected with other local producers and provide free range eggs, poultry, maple syrup and our own Jersey beef. We began making yogurt for our clients in 2011. This yogurt is outstanding! We will soon become a licensed milk processor and market our milk and yogurt products to the general public. Thanks for visiting our page. You comments are appreciated!

I am absolutely thrilled to announce our partnership with Freshstart Farm!!! We will now be making your lattes with delicious A2A2 jersey dairy milk that is ethically & locally sourced! It is packaged in GLASS bottles which are returned and refilled weekly. Not only are we cutting your exposure to leaching plastic but we are cutting our plastic use tremendously which is great for the 🌎 All of our syrups are also in glass bottles!

This milk is rich & creamy in the best way and will definitely complement our organic flavors well 😊

Because we promise to always be fully transparent with our business we also would like to let you know we will be raising our prices by $0.25. It is a necessity as our milk prices have doubled! Thank you all so much for your support and understanding♥️

WELCOME HOME LITTLE GUY! This was in the Farm mailbox- not from USPS! From the looks of it, we can presume he has been in some sort of hostage situation for at least 2 and a half years but was well cared for and returned sparkling clean and ready to get back in the game. How do I know? That's how long its been since we changed the label logo and discontinued offering them to the public. There are about 1200 glass pints still MIA. I'm sure some are still finding fulfillment as beverage containers and flower vases, but too many of them probably met their demise in the recycling or trash can. We have recovered some from garage sales and flea markets! Sadly, even a $3 bottle deposit does not encourage the number of returning bottles you would expect. In fact, since October, about 600 1/2 gallon bottles have gone MIA and had to be replaced without any giant leap in sales 😣. As frustrating as it is, it's still not enough to make the switch to (ugh) plastic (petro- chemical membrane that will sit in the landfill for 800 years) In the meantime, "Thank you" to the anonymous bottle returner and know that its never too late to return a bottle- or 3 or 4. Cash them in at the Farm or Dayton delivery. No questions asked, no bottle shaming, just a big "Welcome Home!"
