The Paws for Sammie walk is this Saturday, June 6 at 9am in the south Cape County Park. Saturday would have also been Sammie’s birthday.

Go to the parking lot at the front entrance and then walk down to the gazebo on the lake to meet. We will walk a few laps around the lake! If you are unable to come due to distance but would still like to participate, please feel free to walk where you are and send us photos! 💕

As we come together to honor the life and legacy of a very special therapy dog, we also celebrate the incredible impact therapy dogs have on the lives of others. Therapy dogs provide comfort, connection, and emotional support to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, libraries, and rehabilitation settings. Their presence can reduce anxiety, ease loneliness, encourage communication, strengthen trust, and bring moments of joy and calm during difficult times.

Sammie was the most loving and well behaved girl. She enjoyed visiting with each person she crossed paths with. She was the perfect therapy dog. Please join us to walk in her honor and to honor the important role therapy dogs have in the lives of others. We will always treasure the time we had with our very special girl. Thank you so much for your support.

Throw back photos to the days of our very first litter from June and Bo. June’s sweet desire for human connection, intelligence, confidence and strong communication skills were the qualities that made us admire her so much and want to share her babies with others. June is my right hand girl and turns 7 in a couple of weeks. She’s been enjoying her retirement for 3 years but still helps with every single litter of puppies we have. She loved being a mom and now she still gets to be a grandma. 🥰 It’s the sweetest thing to watch. 🦋 🐶🦋🐻🐾
