🌲 A little Throwback Thursday with a lumber twist!

Did you know the rings in a tree can tell the story of decades gone by? They can reveal clues about everything from strong growing seasons to years of drought and stress.

We think that’s pretty fitting for a business with a history of its own.

This photo from our archives gives us a look back at our sawmill in years past. Since 1933, generations of the Siwek family have worked with lumber, served our communities, and watched the industry change along the way.

The wood has a story to tell—and after more than 90 years, so do we. 🪵

The legacy of Do it Best members can span across generations, and Siwek Lumber Jordan is proudly entering the next era of family leadership.✨ As third-generation owner Dave Siwek steps down from day-to-day operations, his daughter, Samantha Siwek, and nephew, Jason Pranghorfer, are stepping into leadership roles focused on the continued support of their employees, customers, and community.

We are proud to stand alongside Samantha, Jason, and the Siwek team as they carry on the values, service, and community commitment that have defined the family business for generations.

Two weeks ago, the Siwek Lumber team stepped away from the yard for some employee appreciation and team building!

The day included time focused on “Building the Next Chapter Together: Communication and Connection as Siwek Lumber Grows,” followed by some friendly competition and golf at LaunchPad in Shakopee.

As Siwek Lumber continues to grow, it’s important to take time to connect as a team and recognize the people who keep things moving every day.

We’re grateful for our crew and everything they bring to Siwek Lumber!
