Brewery Outré is downtown Kalamazoo's newest microbrewery, located in the Harrison Circle building. Outré (say "ooh-tray"): unusual and startling, i.e.

weird, q***r, outlandish, far out, freakish, quirky, zany, off-center, unconventional, unorthodox, funny, bizarre, fantastic, unusual, singular, extraordinary, strange, unfamiliar, peculiar, odd. We create innovative versions of classic b**r styles as well as novel new styles, including b**r-wine hybrids. We use Michigan-grown ingredients to capture the unique "Terroir" of Michigan in every glass.

Here’s what’s in store for you this weekend, folks! Read on to learn what’s in the pipeline as well…

Right now on tap we have an awesome selection of traditional b**rs, including our Oktoberfest (personal favorite tbh), as well as THREE b**r-wine hybrids, three actual wines, and three ciders… I hear good things come in threes.

We’ve also just brewed one of our OGs, a b**r that debuted on our grand opening nearly 5 years ago: our Honey Kölsch is fermenting away and will be on draft in just a couple weeks! If you aren’t familiar, Kölsch is a German ale with l***r like qualities. Adding a dollop of honey to the fermentation adds complexity and keeps it light and crisp 🍻
