"Laid back b**rs that tap into your wild side." Laid back b**rs that tap into your wild side. The name Casual Animal represents two sides of our personalities.

Casual Animal stands for the small batch, fresh as hell, local approach. We’re focused on quality over quantity, and community involvement over self-interest. We’re a different breed compared to the margin-driven corporate breweries that are high in both automation and preservatives. We are a husband and wife team, Kyle and Lara, working to set up a home for our brewing ambitions in Kansas City. On the one hand, we’re easy going and happy-go-lucky people. On the other, we like to get into the wild and explore the world. Our approach to life is the same principle that guides the way we hand craft our b**rs. Whether you’re a creature of habit, or wanting to explore your wild side, we offer different flavors to satisfy all tastes. We are hoping to open in Kansas City in 2017. Stay tuned for project updates and happenings where you can find some of our b**r around town. We can't wait to cheers you in the taproom!

So much to celebrate TOGETHER!

Just a little obsessed with this new seating arrangement under the giant schefflera we recently repotted. Come sit under the canopy with a pint and you’ll know exactly what we mean. 🍻

Did you know this schefflera is over 20 years old? It’s a nice statement piece and symbol for our small business. Keep it growing! 🌱 ❤️
